Tabacuba celebrates July 26
At the headquarters of the Tabacuba Business Group, the 68th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks was officially commemorated today, on July 26, and the founding of Tabacuba on July 31. In a patriotic meeting and where tobacco pride prevailed, this representation of the workers of the sector recalled the figure of the Commander-in-Chief, Fidel Castro, who on July 26, 1953 began what would be the last stage of the struggle for Cuban independence. . The President of the Tabacuba Business Group, Justo Luis Fuentes Díaz, said that tobacco workers have always had their side defined; They are one of those who found and love and work, from sunrise to sunset, next to the people, with the people and for the people. "Today, more than ever, Tabacuba is with the Revolution, against foreign interference and against the economic and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba and its people," added the manager. At this moment of revolutionary and patriotic reaffirmation, the tobacco growers were congratulated on the 21st Anniversary of Tabacuba, to be celebrated on July 31st. This institution was created in 2000 and since then it has fully directed the tobacco activity in all phases of its production chain, from agriculture to marketing. Jose Liván Font Bravo, First Vice-President of Tabacuba, said that the best place to celebrate the anniversary and commemorate the Day of National Rebellion is in the workplace.
