New Co-President of Habanos, S.A.

The Habanos Corporation, S.A. announced that Ms. Maritza Carrillo González was appointed as the new Co-President, approved by the Shareholders' Meeting of Habanos, S.A.

The promotion of Ms. Carrillo is endorsed by the experience, knowledge and work that she has been carrying out for several years in different positions within Habanos, S.A. and other entities related to Habano.

Maritza Carrillo, Graduate in International Economic Relations, was linked to the world of Habano since the beginning of her professional career and was part of the founding team of Corporación Habanos S.A., where she held various responsibilities in the Commercial, Marketing and Business Development areas. In the period from 2006 to 2011, she served as Director of Marketing and Head of Havanesa stores in the company Empor, S.A. Exclusive Distributor in Portugal. Later, she assumed the position of President of Comercial Iberoamericana S.A. (COIBA) based in Spain. At the end of her mission in 2021, she became the General Director of Tabagest S.A., until her recent appointment as Co-President of the company.
