Legal Norms of the Ordering Task
The Official Gazette No. 69 Extraordinary published on December 10, 2020, on the monetary order in Cuba, presents a group of laws on the new regulations of these measures.
RESOLUTION 29/2020.
Legal Standard where the minimum wage amount and operational details are established on the basis that the future Workers' Payment System will have once the measures of the Ordering Task come into force. The Resolution also stipulates a new order of the salary scale and how workers will be located in it according to position and complexity groups.
It establishes the country's minimum wage at 2,100 pesos per month and approves the scale and salary rates applicable to all workers.
RESOLUTION 71/2020.
It establishes the Workers' Payment System and what will be the process to follow in the formation of their salary. It dictates the operation of the additional payments in force based on the new measures that are:
a) Piece-rate payment systems
b) Distribution of profits
c) Form of payment for performance that is applied in constructive investments of tourism development programs and the Mariel Special Development Zone.
He subscribes that the income of the workers is made up of a fixed part that corresponds to the salary scale according to the complexity and the additional payments and a mobile part associated with the results.
In the Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 69, other resolutions were also published on the Salary System for workers who work in local organs of People's Power and their budgeted units, the salary for workers of all occupational categories who work in schools. branches and training centers subordinate to state bodies, bodies of the Central State Administration and national entities and higher organizations of Business Management, as well as the establishment of complexity groups of technical positions of the National Audit System, among others.
