El Laguito's Quality Management System certified.

The Torcido El Laguito Tobacco Company, cradle of the famous Cohiba cigars, received the Certification of its Quality Management System granted by the National Office for Standardization of Cuba (ONN) in its acronym in Spanish.

The Certification Group, of the ONN, reported the corresponding statement, of the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001 of 2015.

With this achievement, El Laguito, belonging to the Tabacuba Holding company, ratified its commitment to the Quality Policy of the tobacco sector and to the followers of the premium handmade cigars that have so much prestige and admiration in the world.

Likewise, it reiterates the professionalism of the Cuban tobacco sector and respect for its cultural heritage, which has perpetuated the ancestral tobacco twisting techniques that distinguish us today.

The Certification helps the company to have a positive influence on raising the levels of production and quality in the industry, and increase the added value of its productions, thus contributing to its position in the market.

The National Standardization Office belonging to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, received in 2015 in Havana, the Certificate of Accreditation that allows it to legitimize quality management systems in engineering services and projects, in a competent and impartial manner.
